Mr. Jay Bivins obtained a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Land Management from Louisiana State University. Mr. Bivins has worked as a petroleum landman for over 30 years with field experience in the following states: Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Michigan and Florida. He began working with HPS in 1986. Mr. Bivins has been involved in most all phases of land work including management of 3D projects, abstracting, curative, lease acquisition, due diligence, right-of-way acquisitions and damage settlements. Mr. Bivins is a member of the AAPL, LAPL, HAPL, NHAPL, and IRWA.
